Zoe apparently takes a libertarian line on the do-not-call registry, a la Tyler Cowen. Last night, after I (politely) got off the phone with someone wanting to change my mom's long distance service, Zoe asked who it was. I explained that it was someone trying to sell me something and that I really hated it when people did that. She was silent for a minute, and then said, "Mommy, you like to go shopping. Maybe somebody is calling you to say, 'come in my store and buy something.' Then you should like it." I was at a loss. She seems to have me there.

Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
