Cosmic Ponywatch, over coffee edition

he.jpgOur meme has arrived.

In other news, this is a great comics blog. I particularly appreciated the sidebar tale of the 9-year old's band name idea: the definition of awesome. That is indeed the best band name ever. Also, check out the gentleman's 'best of' stuff. Also, this is a great comics parody site.

Zoë wants me to dress as a superhero for Halloween, so I got to thinking? Maybe Cosmic Boy, from that awkward Grell period of his costume's evolution? Ah! Here we go. Also, I find this site sort of strange. (Reminds me of a song.) And this was funny.

Belle is now officially the coolest Bush critic of all time. All hail Belle's hypothetical ponies!

I always dress in black on Halloween. Nothing else--just black, from head to toe. I used to experiment with drawing inverted pentagrams on the palms of my hands as well, but given the sort of places we live and the company we tend to keep, that was just too freaky.

I favor the theory that the Grell-era Cosmic Boy uniform was a result of Cosmic Boy being in a hurry early some morning and grabbing one of Night Girl's more daring costumes by mistake.

Though if you go as Grell Cosmic Boy, maybe you could get Belle to go as Grell Princess Projectra. Er, maybe not, I guess.

When I was 8, I made the mistake of dressing as green lantern on halloween. I had to explain who I was at every house.

We're testing a strong CC license as a form of troll repellant. Does that sound strange? Read this thread. (I know, it's long. Keep scrolling. Further. Further. Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
