And Critias Was There, And You Were There, And You

she.jpgI had a bad dream last night that I couldn't remember what the word "banausic" meant. As nightmares go it's pretty, um, run of the mill. Not exactly a noble nightmare, if you know what I mean.

I, for one, bow before your workshoply vocabulary. (Until now I didn't know that "banausic" existed. If you had asked me, I'd have said it was a cross between a Serbian general and a banana.)

A nightmare abut not remembering what the word "banausic" means? is surely the opposite of run of the mill.

Actually, it would be pretty disorienting not to know what was routine or run-of-the-mill. On that reading, I think this counts as a genuine nightmare.

Coincidence: *right now* I'm having a nightmare in which I don't know what "banausic" means.

We're testing a strong CC license as a form of troll repellant. Does that sound strange? Read this thread. (I know, it's long. Keep scrolling. Further. Further. Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
