I think it's the runner board (or whatever that thing on the edge between the floor and the wall) in the green room that really looks institutional. The red looks really nice, though. Can we get a picture of the "long dinning room"? I was interested in that. Over all it looks pretty cool, though.

Hi there,

I accidentally came across your blog yesterday and am loving it. Have been dancing round the living room to "YOu are the Coolest" with my 4 and 6 year old - a superb song with exceptional visuals. I feel ten years younger and ten times more awesome. Thanks guys. Am hoping to find a house like yours one of these days (possibly one where a secret pool of the Newtonesque variety can be inserted! :-))

hi BkkBabe, glad you like it! I actually have a fantasy of putting a plunge pool there in the side yard...the above ground ones aren't sooo expensive, and then you just build decking up so it's flush with the top edge...hmm.

That place looks cool. Whereabouts is it, if you don't mind my asking?

We're testing a strong CC license as a form of troll repellant. Does that sound strange? Read this thread. (I know, it's long. Keep scrolling. Further. Further. Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
