Hopefully it won't sound flip or supercilious if I say that the Japanese prints in the kitchen nook, especially The Great Wave, is a misstep.

hokusai is deprecated?

I would just like to note that I didn't write the previous comment. I suspect that my wife did. I have no dog in the hokusai kitchen nook fight.

d'oh, sorry sweetheart. commented on the main computer without checking.

Ellen is scrolling through the pix; whn she gets to the tub, Sylvia says "Ewwww...." Then she scrolls to the "after" picture of the bathroom, and Sylvia says "Ahhh...."

They didn't actually show after pictures of the tub.

True; but I reckon we can assume, based on the "after" picture of the bathroom, that it is at least no longer filled with sewage.

Is Violet feeling better? You sort of left us with a cliffhanger last post. (Not that your family's health is any of our business but us interweb strangers care too, ya know.)

Hokusia considered harmful.

  • Confused by our comment policy?

We're testing a strong CC license as a form of troll repellant. Does that sound strange? Read this thread. (I know, it's long. Keep scrolling. Further. Further. Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
