Just a few family pics

he.jpgYes, we're still alive. Just busy. Here are a couple pics from Mei Mei's B-day party. She had a Miniscule cake. I ordered the DVD's all the way from France. Then, when I asked her what her best present was, she said: the balloons.

Musicalchairs

Musical chairs.

Cake

That's the black spider on the cake. If you know "Miniscule", you know who I mean. Here are a couple snaps from the park. I took the girls to ride bikes and feed the turtles and catfish. Catfish and turtles will fight over bread, did you know that?

Helmet

Safety first.

Yay, I'm glad she was able to have her party!

safety first

Is that to ward off the grim, snapping jaws of her nemesis Turtle?

(Oh -- I missed the "ride bikes" bit.)

Yes, we love Minuscule. Our coffret was carried off by friends immediately and was then carried further off by others... Harrumph.
Did you see "Le Making Of" ?

Take heart, John. At least the wrapping paper wasn't her favorite part.

I like that last picture especially. Did you invite all those birds to the party to bump up numbers?

Hey woof, I haven't really delved into the extras yet. But it's fantastic. It' very popular, even if it isn't as good as balloons. The thing about balloons is: they are really hard to beat. I bought these long thin ones with smiley faces and little antennae on the ends, to go with "Miniscule". And we spent hours knocking them about, then running around shrieking 'Sky Worms!'

Adam R, the trick is to train the birds to bring presents.

It's cool to see how they put them together. Also, there is the short "mouches à merde", which shows you where they were headed and what they thankfully avoided.
Our 14-m.o. daughter loves the theme music and stands to clap at the start of each episode.

Does her dress have a watermelon collar?! I'm jealous!!

We're testing a strong CC license as a form of troll repellant. Does that sound strange? Read this thread. (I know, it's long. Keep scrolling. Further. Further. Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
