I am currently listening to, and very much enjoying, the Yes song "And You and I." OK, iTunes shuffle serendipitous segue: it was followed by Run-DMC's "It's Tricky." A great transition.

Let me suggest Let Us Go Into the House of the Lord. First a traditional version of this hymn.
Then Lonnie Liston Smiths interpretation of the traditional hymn. 2 versions. Then the monumental McLaughlin Santana version.

Is John also going to tout the Bad Plus version of "Long Distance Runaround"?

A friend of mine just recently re-introduced me to Runaround; I can't think of how long it's been since I'd listened to that tune all the way through. Great music. I had no idea there was a Bad Plus version; I'll have to check it out.
