We're in New York. We celebrated our arrival by Zoë coming down with a 102 fever. (Rushed her to the doctor with that one.) And then, 8 hours later, Mei Mei came down with a serious urinary tract infection. (Emergency room for her!) Even by our standards this is pretty bad.
Happy birthday, Dad!

Oh, my, that sounds truly horrible. All I can think (as a parent) is how exhausted you must be to have to worry about two sick kids on top of the jet lag. What to say - it can only get better? I hope the girls improve quickly and all further bugs will avoid you by a generous margin.
