Ooh, does this mean I can read from the beginning all the way straight through? B/c I missed the whole beginning and then was afraid of getting lost and avoided your blog for a long time because I don't like skipping things, but it seemed intriguing.

Hey Saheli, thanks for asking. Yes! You can read from the beginning! But here's the thing. If you click the link above, at the moment, it doesn't work. Reason: the copies I got from Blurb had cover corners that curled up intolerably. I talked about it with them and they think it won't happen again (and they very kindly gave me full credit back.) I'm going to re-publicize S&O when I actually see copies of the book that look perfect, the way I want. But in the meantime, here's the buy link:

http://www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/1116310

I suggest: wait a few more days and I will confirm that the book looks good. Or: if you order, be aware that if the corners curl up (you'll know it if you see it), it's Blurb's problem and they will make good by providing a new copy.

I also adjusted the spine text slightly on the new version, and I have yet to see whether that works out perfectly. But it won't be a big deal one way or the other.

Saheli

Any update on the new, curl-free covers?

jholbo

Hey Saheli, thanks for asking again. I just got the second edition and it is, apparently, curl-free. So order away! (One of these days, Belle and I are going to get back to blogging, too!)

I just got the second edition and it is, apparently, curl-free. http://www.fullmediafire.com

  • Confused by our comment policy?

We're testing a strong CC license as a form of troll repellant. Does that sound strange? Read this thread. (I know, it's long. Keep scrolling. Further. Further. Ah, there.) So basically, we figure trolls will recognize that selling coffee cups and t-shirts is the best revenge, and will keep away. If we're wrong about that, at least someone can still sell the cups and shirts. (Sigh.)
