We will miss the neighborhood of our old place on Dunlop Street, especially the idlis... I suppose we need to change the shophouse logo but I'm fond of it so I'm leaving it where it is for the moment. Like us, it's distinctively Singapore!

Octopus
We embellished this oil painting with a mysterious denizen of the deep...
Faux-Bois Sideboard
This vintage sideboard has been painted two tones of green and accented with faux-bois on the sides. Will really perk up the dining room, or makes a great bar cabinet.
Vintage Glassware
There particular glasses are sold but we have loads more. We have an especially great selection of 70s glassware at the moment.
Decoupaged Dresser
This is an old wooden dresser with a formica top and decoupage on the mirror.
Vintage Singapore photos were used as well as old movie magazines.
Cushions
We have some great cushions of vintage 50s barkcloth with Calder mobile-type designs.

Curved Cupboard
Update: currently being refinished. This art-deco-style cabinet has a single open space behind one door, and a combination of open shelving and a drawer behind the other. The wood is not in perfect condition...but this is reflected in the low price. It could be fully refinished for about twice the price. The curved edges are lovely, as is the bevelled-glass curved mirror--they don't make them like this anymore!
Your Auntie's Sofa--but Re-vitalized
Updated: SOLD This is just a classic 60s-era teak sofa, with beautiful lines. Newly fabricated cushions are covered in green vinyl material with stitched squares and button detailing. Not just for your auntie's walk-up anymore, this sofa is ready to take over a modern living room. Quite comfortable, as well, and easy to keep clean in the tropical climate. The teak wood was not well-cared-for for a while and will need to be oiled from time to time to stay lustrous--but it is so worth it. SGD$1,500.
Side Table
This funky two-level side table is more complicated than it appears at first. It is a typical early 60s combination of wood and wood-look laminate. Though the photo doesn't show it to advantage, the underside of the table is beautifully put together. Perfect for displaying that stack of 1960s Esquire and Playboy magazines you've hidden away. A steal at SGD$350.
